Important registration info

Credit card payment only is accepted for online registration. An NC State University PCard cannot be used for payment. NC State University participants may also pay with a Project ID number.

Need to pay by check or make a group registration? Email researchinnovation@ncdot.gov for instructions.

About this event

The R&I Symposium is a two-day event with plenary, breakout, and poster sessions. In-person capacity is limited; register early for the lowest cost and guarantee your spot.

NC Professional Engineers can earn PDHs for this event.

General Attendee Registration

For university researchers, students and transportation professionals working in the public or private sector

  • $100 per person (increases to $125 after February 1)
  • $75 per student (increases to $100 after February 1)
  • Breakfast and lunch provided on both days

NCDOT Employee Registration

For NC Department of Transportation employees and embedded contractors (please use NCDOT email address to register)

  • $100 per person (increases to $125 after February 1)
  • Breakfast and lunch provided on both days

Virtual Attendee Registration

For remote participants using Zoom

  • $50 per person
  • Plenary and breakout sessions included
  • Tech demos, offsite demos, and poster session not available for virtual attendees
  • Questions/comments for speakers may be submitted via the Zoom Q&A function during sessions
